Ready to Adopt?

Adopting a rescue Yorkie is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have. Our dogs come from various backgrounds, but they all share one thing: they're ready to love and be loved.

Our Adoption Process

  1. Browse Available Dogs — View our current Yorkies looking for homes
  2. Submit an Application — Complete our online adoption application
  3. Application Review — Our team reviews applications within 5-7 days
  4. Meet & Greet — Visit the dog at their foster home with your family and any existing pets
  5. Home Sweet Home — Once approved, welcome your new family member!

Adoption Fees

Adoption fees vary based on the dog's age, health, and size. Younger dogs typically have higher fees as they're in high demand—these fees help us cover the costs of caring for senior dogs and those with medical needs.

All adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Adoption Area

We primarily adopt to families in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and parts of Connecticut. You'll need to travel to meet your potential new pet at their foster home—this is a requirement, not optional.

Things to Consider

  • Yorkies can be challenging to housebreak and may need pee pads if left alone for more than 3 hours
  • They're not always suitable for homes with small children
  • Most rescue Yorkies are adults—puppies are rare in rescue
  • "Teacup" Yorkies don't exist as a breed standard—be wary of that term
